Brushes with Mountain Goat Bristles

The Mountain Goat brush is a specialty brush that is designed for working with the tip of the brush. When the tip is wetted, the effect on canvas or ceramics is akin to having a hundred or more very fine tiped brushes. These brushes make the most exquisite lines, curves and stipples you can imagine.

The individual hairs are very fine and delicate, and i recommend using them only with water based paint or ink. These brushes are as much works of art as they are practical brushes.

I make these in two sizes, including large and larger diameter. Their design necessitates having a lot of hair.

As an aside, they have a very nice 2nd use when clean and dry as a tickling tool.
