Pony Hair Brushes
Pony Hair Brushes are made from…..Pony Hair. Pony Hair is very soft and holds a lot of liquid. It also comes to a fine point. This brush type is ideal for those who have a light touch and who paint either very quickly or slowly and methodically. Pony hair holds more liquid than about anything except Sable brushes. Pony hair brushes are not at all springy. I developed this brush for those who use a fast painting technique. Pony Hair is one of the very few types of bristle material that will keep up with a fast hand. I recommend the larger sizes.
Pony hair is also great for an extremely delicate or fine drybrush technique.
