I offer a wide selection of brush sets which fit into 2 general categories. Category 1 are brushes of the same hair type and which differ in the brush diameter. I call these Family Sets. An example of this is my Blended Goat hair and Synthetic sets. You can find the family sets by looking under each family of brushes.

The 2nd category are groupings I’ve put together that make an excellent selection of brushes for a range of related applications. These have come from my many shows, where people buy brushes they feel are the most useful.

This page shows the 2nd category of brush sets. I have a separate page for the family sets, which you can find here (need to add page)

Of course you are welcome to make up your own sets. The ones below are both recommended and good guidelines on how to put together a set of brushes.

The first two groupings are my most popular sets. You will find the details by clicking on the set.

The next set is very popular with those who use oils and who use heavy body acrylics, guashes, and any type of more viscous paints, These are offered in 3 sizes. Click on the set to see the details.

The next section is a number of sets for those who use Watercolors, inks and aqueous acrylics. The great majority of my brushes are ideal for these applications, so, surprise(!), i have a number of great brush sets.

The groups below are a combination of my best performance brushes which include both natural hair and synthetic brushes. The groupings are my small diameter, medium size diameter and large diameter brushes.

The group below includes my Synthetic Bristle Brush sets. My synthetic brushes are designed to provide a nice range of tactile feedback which ranges from very soft to very stiff. The Synthetic Brushes works extremely well with all paint media, both water and solvent based. The Synthetic Brushes offer excellent performance, way above average longevity, and are a lot of fun to work with.
